VRAM Studio is one of a few true ateliers in the jewelry world today. From concept to completed piece, over 90% of the work happens on-site, carried out by Vram and his team of skilled artisans.
The techniques used include everything from traditional gold smithing to cutting-edge CAD design. In every case the goal is to create a pieces that aren’t simply interesting from a conceptual or a geometric point of view, but that also have obvious tactile appeal — satisfying to touch and wear.
Many of the gemstones chosen for setting come from Vram’s personal collection, gathered over 40 years and containing material that has not been to market in decades.
Vram is known for hand-picking even the smallest gemstones to create subtle surface treatments — with curved seamless forms taking their color from impressionistic fields of cut gems, punctuated by golden volumes and center stones with character.
